this past week, i have really been thinking about service and little selfless acts. a close friend of the family passed away last week whom my dad helped out a great deal. (he was one of his many "projects")  i have really realized how thankful i am for my dad and his example of serving others. when i was at home on sunday he said that it is so important to help those around you- even if it is something small. i think for those who know my daddy can agree that he gives and gives and gives despite his ridiculously busy schedule. i look at him and see how stressed he is all the time, but i see how he makes helping others a priority in his life. let this be a reminder to all of us---- do an act of service daily... even if it is small :)
